TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form the basis of the contract between THE HOME-BIRD (“THE HOME-BIRD” “we” “us”) and our customers. Please read our Terms carefully before placing an order on thehome.bird.co.uk. By visiting, browsing, registering or placing an order on THE HOME-BIRD, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree with these Terms please stop using the site straight away.
ORDERING ONLINE
You can place your order online. You will receive a confirmation email which details your purchase, price and billing/shipping address. Please check that all this information is correct and contact us straight away if there is an error.
Your confirmation email is an acknowledgment of your order. A legally binding contract is not formed until you receive confirmation that your purchase has been dispatched.
We have the right not to accept an order for any given reason.
PRICING
All prices on our website are correct at the time of publication and are in GBP. The final purchase price will be calculated at checkout when you have entered your shipping location.
DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS
Every care has been taken to give correct and accurate descriptions, colours and specifications of all our products at the time of publication. Please note that sizes are an approximation and colours may vary owing to photography, lighting, hand made and natural materials. Some of our products are hand made and by their nature will not all be identical, others are designed to have a weathered or rustic finish so may have intended imperfections and flaws. DELIVERY
All items are sent via courier service or Royal Mail on a 48hr service. We aim to dispatch your order within three working days but this may be longer during busy periods. If you have left an email address at checkout you will be notified once your order has been shipped and tracking details will be provided by the courier.
It is important that the shipping address you provide at the time of ordering is accurate and correct as we cannot be held responsible for parcels which may go missing.
Our office hours are weekdays until 16.00hrs. Orders placed after this time will be processed the next working day. Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed on the following working day, and orders placed over the weekend will be processed on the next working day.
Occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, or at busy times of year, deliveries may be delayed but we endeavour to keep you up to date on the status of your order via email.
Packaging used for your order may be recycled, eco chips are used mainly to protect your parcel and bubble wrap kept to a minimum were practical and possible.
If your purchase doesn’t arrive in perfect condition please contact us as soon as possible by emailing heather@thehome-bird.co.uk. We ask you to retain the original packaging as proof of the condition the goods were received in.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
If for any reason your purchase is unsuitable you have 14 days from the date you received your order to return it for a refund. This will exclude your initial shipping cost unless your order is deemed faulty.
You must send your order back to us at your own cost. Please make sure your order is returned in its original packaging and any delicate items are securely packaged. We recommend using a tracked delivery and keep hold of the receipt as we can’t be held responsible for returns that go missing and may refuse a refund for orders that are inadequately packaged.
Your return will be processed within 48hrs of receipt. Refunds can take up to 10 working days to show in your account. If you haven’t received the funds by this time please contact your issuer for assistance.
If you’d like to exchange your purchase, you will need to return your order and place a new order.
FAULTY ITEMS
Where an item is deemed faulty after inspection we will offer your a refund, replacement or discount. Please notify us via email with 48 hrs of receiving your order at heather@thehome-bird.co.uk.
YOUR USE OF OUR SITE
All wording, photography and all other intellectual property remains the property of THE HOME-BIRD. You are only permitted to use such content if authorised by us.
We reserve the right to use imagery for any form of advertising if you use #THEHOME-BIRD and @THEHOME-BIRD on your instagram posts.
The site is for your own personal use and you agree that you will not sell or supply any items purchased from THE HOME-BIRD for your commercial gain.
LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence.
